Cleaning does not have to be just an unpleasant and annoying job

Our grandmothers used easily available, effective and cheap natural remedies and raw materials to clean and treat household items. Among their main weapons were baking soda, vinegar and lemon juice.

Proven advice and tips:

How to do it?

  • How to get rid of stubborn dirt in the carpet? Sprinkle wet salt over it and rinse after an hour.
  • Do you have water stains on your furniture? Toothpaste with a little baking soda will help. Then polish.
  • What about a thick layer of dust? Wipe it carefully with apple cider vinegar.
  • Want your own stain remover? Mix equal parts of linseed oil, alcohol and turpentine.
  • Looking for a dust repellent? Prepare it from a liter of water, two teaspoons of vinegar and a teaspoon of glycerin.
  • What about a greasy microwave oven? Put a halved lemon in its insides (cut side up), turn on the oven for 20 seconds and then wipe the walls with a dry cloth.
  • What to revive stained furniture? Make a polish from three tablespoons of linseed oil and a teaspoon of salt.
  • How to dry dirt on windows?  Help yourself with onion juice.
  • Are you annoyed by greasy stains behind the stove? Erase them with ordinary school chalk.
  • How to clean the joints between tiles? Ordinary vinegar will also help against fungi.
  • Do you have a clogged drain? Pour vinegar and salt into the sink, cover with vinegar and rinse with water.

Tips:

  • The fridge will stay fragrant for a long time if you put a sliced apple in it.
  • Add 2 teaspoons of olive oil to the roots of the ferns once a month, they will grow beautifully.
  • Clean a bathtub contaminated with rust stains with lemon juice.
  • After washing, wipe the stone floor with water with the addition of ammonia oil, it will get a shine.
  • Spray shaving foam on the bathroom mirror and buff. It won't rain.
  • Remove lint from clothing by rubbing the fabric in the opposite direction with old tights.
  • You can remove wax residue from candles by placing it in a pot of cold water and bringing it to a boil.
  • You can also clean the oven or hob very well with onion juice.
  • Pour sour milk on blueberry stains and then wash the garment in warm water.
  • Dried raindrops reliably remove the cold black tea. And if you polish the glass with newspaper, streaks will not appear
